The purpose of this web space is to promote the use of digital photography by educators in literacy eduction that fosters dialogic education. To achieve this goal, this web space will not focus on applications and the use of a digital camera, it will assume that the paricipants have the skills to perform these basic tasks. Instead, it will focus on the following digital products: photoblogs, digital storytelling and photo novellas. In doing so, it will demonstrate how to use these products and how the process to create them to plan, create, publish, and distribute these products can be used for group work and dialogue.

These techniques lead perfectly to pre- and post- assessment of the knowledge of participants, and promotes an inquiry-based and constructivist approach to learning. Finally, this web space will begin a introductory inquiry into the use of vidcasts in literacy and transformative education that may be added to this space at a later date when the creation of the RSS pages become easier to create.
